Star Wars Meets STEM and I’m Keeping the Box
This is one of those Star Wars products that somehow manages to make both kids and parents excited for very different reasons.
The Star Wars Galactic Chemistry Lab is basically a full blown science kit disguised as a Star Wars experience. Kids get eight different experiments that pull straight from the galaxy, from Tatooine sand and Mustafar style lava reactions to Bantha milk slime and glow in the dark Dianoga worms. There’s even a DIY lightsaber experiment mixed in, which feels like the perfect hook to get kids genuinely excited about chemistry without realizing they’re learning real concepts along the way. It covers everything from polymers and non Newtonian fluids to acids, bases, and phosphorescence, all packaged in a way that feels more like play than homework.
But if I’m being completely honest, the thing I’m most excited about happens after all the experiments are done. That incredibly cool, Imperial looking Star Wars storage box is absolutely staying with me. Once the kids finish turning the house into a temporary science lab, I get a slick Star Wars case that looks like it belongs on a shelf in the Death Star. It’s one of those rare wins where kids get messy, educational fun, and parents walk away with something they actually want to keep. That feels like a pretty perfect balance in my book.
