Regal Robot Expands the Death Star With a Wave 2 of Surface Magnets

There is something deeply satisfying about Star Wars collectibles that focus on the small details, and Regal Robot just tapped straight into that obsession again.

Regal Robot just released Wave Two of their Death Star Surface Magnets, adding three new designs inspired directly by the iconic surface of the Death Star. These new pieces join the original five from Wave One, all still available, and together they lean hard into the classic model making tricks and practical effects that gave Star Wars its unmistakable look back in 1977. The team studied the original filming miniatures from A New Hope and translated those greeble-heavy textures into roughly 2.6 inch square resin tiles that feel like they were pulled straight off the battle station itself.

Like the original wave, each magnet is cast in solid resin, hand painted, and lightly weathered to give it that used-universe authenticity. Because the designs are meant to be mixed and matched, you can arrange them in different layouts to create a bunch of unique Death Star surface patterns on your fridge, filing cabinet, or office wall. They ship in a full color display box with a strong neodymium magnet, making them equal parts collectible and functional. Shipping is US only, with discounted rates if you grab more than one, and quantities are limited and in stock now. Fair warning, these feel like the kind of Star Wars decor that starts as one magnet and quietly turns into a full Death Star wall before you realize what happened.
