Star Wars: Droids Figures Arrive This September
If you grew up watching Droids on Saturday mornings, Entertainment Earth just dropped a preorder that might hit you right in the nostalgia.
For years, Droids has been one of those forgotten corners of Star Wars that only longtime fans seem to remember. The animated series followed R2-D2 and C-3PO on adventures long before they crossed paths with Luke Skywalker, and now Hasbro is bringing that colorful cartoon style to the Black Series lineup. Entertainment Earth is currently taking preorders for the figures individually or as a complete set scheduled to ship in September.
The collection includes two versions of R2-D2, two versions of C-3PO, plus Boba Fett and an Imperial Stormtrooper, all inspired by their appearances in the classic animated series. I honestly never expected to see Droids get this kind of attention in 2026, which makes this release feel even more special. For fans who remember watching the cartoon or discovering it years later on VHS and DVD, this is a pretty fun way to add a little piece of Star Wars history to the shelf.
